Ski Dubai

Unfortunately I haven't spot this coolhunt in real-life, but I read about it in a magazine and later on the internet. I think this coolhunt is very nice, so I wanted to share with you.
It's all about Ski Dubai!

Are you tired and exhausted? You can just relax at the themed restaurants St Moritz Café and Avalanche Cafe. The Avalanche Café is located in the middle of a slope and from there you have a very nice view.

What is it?
It is a 22,500 m2 (about 3 football fields!) large indoor winter sports centre which is covered with real snow all year. It has 5 (!) slopes at different levels. The longest slope is 400 meters long and 60 meters high. You can ski and snowboarding at all levels. There is a large and interactive Snow Park. This is with 3000 m2 the largest indoor snow park in the world. There are several lifts, such as chairs lifts, ropelift and flying carpets.

You don't even have to worry about your clothing and equipment. You can just rent your winter clothes, and your ski and snowboard equipment at Ski Dubai.

 Why it's cool?
It's cool because in Dubai they didn't knew about wintersports before. In Dubai it is very hot all year round.
This fact provides additional experience, a very warm country, where you can ski. This fits well with the experience economy trend. This winter sports hall is also very different than we have in the Netherlands. This is very big, has lots of opportunities and real snow.

Experience Economy

As I told you before, I study International Lifestyle.
In this block, which is Leisure, it's mostly about experience economy.
Before I am going to share my coolhunts with you, I will explain what experience economy really is.

"Experience Economy is a similar term for the economy, which is not just the product or service, but with a product or service associated experience."

So, It is the experience which adds that little bit extra to product or service. Something you'll never forget.
